Stchu-Moon 01 is a unique floor lamp. It serves as a real eye-catcher in every room. This luminaire is made of aluminium and steel. Depending on the version, the lampshade is coated with gold/silver/copper leaf on the inside. Its hemispherical shape as well as the interior structure awaken associations with the moon or the sun. These lights can be obtained in two sizes: either with a shade available in differents diameter. In order to ensure glare protection a spoon is mounted in front of the illuminant. In order to control the light intensity, the Stchu-Moon 01 by Catellani & Smith is provided with a dimmer. The Stchu-Moon 01 is suitable to create an atmospheric illumination of the floor, for instance, in the living area. Each light is manufactured by hand and is therefore a unique piece.
